It can get more complicated as the games leader covers up two or three girls together.

This game may be played in a large circle with the entire group or in small groups, or even in pairs. They then hold hands and the introductions continue. At the end, everyone is holding hands. This is an appropriate time to sing a friendship song, for example, Make New Friends.

Materials required:

BAT AND MOTH S/B/G
Materials required:
blindfolds
This is a neat stalking game played either inside or out. The girls form a circle. One girl is in the middle, blindfolded. She is the "bat." Two more girls go in the middle, also blindfolded; they are the "moths". The object of the game is for the "bat" to catch a "moth". The "bat" shouts BAT and moves one step. The moths shout MOTH and move one step away from the "bat's" sound. Explain to everyone that the sound that the "bat" makes is its radar signal to see if anything is out there. The call bounces off the "moths" and returns to the "bat". This is the way real bats find food. Allow the game to continue until the "bat" catches a "moth" or set up a time of maybe five calls before changing the people in the middle. This game is good for concentration as the girls in the circle must also be quiet.

Have players stand in a circle. Choose a player to be Simon. Simon calls out true or false statements and acts them out in an attempt to get the others to copy. Here's how: Simon syas "jump like a kangaroo" and does so. Since this is true, all players should copy, just as Simon does. Simon continues, Tweet like a bird, slither like a snake, etc... Suddenly Simon will say something that doesn't make sense, like "Fly like a rabbit". Simon can either pretend to fly, or hop in an effort to get the others to follow. Players who follow Simon are out. Keep the game moving fast so it stays challenging. You could have cards made up ahead of time to help this, so Simon simply draws a card and performs the written task.
